Coalition violates UN-declared truce 99 times

SANAA, April 29 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition forces and their mercenaries committed 99 violations of the UN-brokered humanitarian and military truce, during the past 24 hours, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Friday, citing a military source.

The violations included 33 flights of armed reconnaissance and espionage aircraft in the airspace of the provinces of Marib, Hajjah, Jawf, Saada, and Dhalea, the source explained.

The source confirmed that the mercenaries of aggression carried out an infiltration attempt towards the positions of the army and popular committees in the district of Qataba in Dhalea province.

The source pointed out that 22 violations were recorded with missile and artillery shelling,  on the positions of the army and popular committees in the area of al-Madafen in Saada province, as well as on the districts of Haradh, Bani Hassan and Al-Mazraq in Hajjha province.

Moreover, the mercenaries  targeted the positions of the army and the people’s committees in Qataba, Al-Fakher and Bab Saqal in Dhalea province , with heavy artillery shelling.

The source confirmed that 43 violations were recorded by shooting at the homes of citizens and the sites of the Army and Popular Committees in Marib, Saada, Hajjah and Dhalea province.
