Coalition forces violate UN-declared truce 141 times

SANAA, April 29 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and their mercenaries have committed 141 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Thursday, citing a military source.

According to the military source, 31 armed reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Marib, Jawf, Taiz, Dhalea and Saada provinces and beyond the borders.

The source confirmed that 16 breaches by artillery bombardment were recorded in Marib, Hajjah, Saada and Jawf, while an artillery shelling attacked citizens’ homes in Al-Zoor village and army’s sites in Al-Balq Al-Sharqi and Al-Akd areas of Marib.

The source declared that coalition’s mercenaries established fortifications in Serwah of Marib and an infiltration attempt in Maqbana district of Taiz.

In addition, the source pointed out that coalition’s mercenaries targeted army and popular committees sites in Al-Shahlaa of Al-Mazariq area in Jawf, west Haradh district of Hajjah, and in Al-Malheedh and Al-Madafin areas of Saada.

Moreover, the source declared that 87 breaches were recorded, with heavy shooting and sniping operations at citizens’ homes and sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Saada, Hajjah and Dhalea and fronts of beyond the borders.
