Meteorology calls on citizens to stay away from water way, valleys

SANAA, April 25 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology has called on citizens to stay away from water way and valleys during and after rain during the next 24 hours.

In its warning bulletin on Monday, the center expected showers that could reach the extent of heavy rain, accompanied by thunderstorms over separate areas of the mountainous provinces from Saada in the north to Lahj in the south.

It indicated that the light rains would extended to the eastern parts of the deserts of Saada, Jawf, Marib and Shabwa, as well as to the mountains and hilltops of Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, Mahra, and Socotra.
