Coalition forces violate humanitarian, military truce 99 times

PROVINCES, April 21 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition forces and their mercenaries committed, during the past 24 hours, 99 violations of the two-months humanitarian and military truce announced by the United Nations,  a military source reported on Thursday.

The violations included 75 sorties of armed and spying reconnaissance aircrafts in the airspace of the provinces of Marib, Jawf, Hajjah, Saada, Amran, Dhalea, and Hodeida, and areas beyond the border, the source explained.

The source noted that ten violations were recorded with artillery and rocketry bombardment, in which the coalition forces fired two Katyusha rockets on the sites of the army and popular committees in Al-Akad area in Mairb.

The coalition mercenaries also targeted the army and committees’ positions with artillery shells in Al-Akad and al-Balaq al-Sharqi areas in Marib and Al-Malahidh and Al-Madfan areas in Saada province.

The source confirmed recording of 13 violations with shooting at the citizens’ houses and the sites of the army and popular committees in the provinces of Marib, Taiz, and Dhalea.
