Russian forces destroy 67 Ukrainian military sites

MOSCOW, April 16 (YPA) – The Russian Defense Ministry said  that the Air Forces  destroyed 67  Ukrainian military sites for mobilizing  soldiers and combat equipment last night.

The Air Defense downed a Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft south of Izyum city, meanwhile the missile artillery forces bombed 811 targets, including 43 command centers, 8 convoys of fuel tanks and 760 military areas, The Official Spokesman of Russian Defense Ministry, Major General Igor Konashenkov, said in a press briefing on Saturday.

The Russian armed forces destroyed last night, with high-precision air missiles, production workshops at Kyiv Armored Factory and workshops for repairing combat equipment in Nikolaev city, Konashenkov explained.

He added that 16 facilities were destroyed, including 11 sites of mobilizing weapons in Povitsky town of Odessa region in addition to destroying two depots for artillery and missile weapons in Nikolaev region.

Konashenkov concluded that since the start of the special Russian operation, 133 combat aircraft, 458 drones were downed , while 246 anti-aircraft missile systems, 2,246 tanks and armored vehicles, 252 rocket launchers, 981 field guns and mortars, as well as 2,146 special military vehicles of the Ukrainian forces have been disabled.
