Coalition forces violate UN-declared truce 79 times within 24 hours

SANAA, April 11 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and their mercenaries have committed 79 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Monday, citing a military source.

According to the military source, 33 armed reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Marib, Taiz, Jawf, Hajjah, Saada, Bayda, Dhalea and Hodeida provinces, while one raid of armed reconnaissance planes hit citizens’ homes and sites of the Yemeni army in Al-Kadeha area of Taiz province.

He confirmed that the coalition’s mercenaries had created three combat fortifications in Al-Balq Al-Qabali in Marib, near a police station in Qaataba district of Dhalea and in Tabat Al-Safina of Al-Barh area in Taiz.

Moreover, the source pointed out that six artillery and missile bombardments of the mercenaries were monitored when three Katyusha rocket hit the sites of the army and the popular committees in Serwah area of Marib.

The source pointed out that an artillery shelling and tank’s shells targeted the civilians homes and sites of the Yemeni army in Al-Boqaa area of Saada, Al-Jadafir and Raghwan areas of Jawf.

In addition, the source declared that 34 breaches were recorded, with heavy shooting at citizens’ homes and sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Jawf, Lahj, Bayda, Hodeida and Dhalea.
