Tehran accuses Washington of continuing to violate Iran nuclear deal

SANAA, March 31 (YPA) – The Iranian Foreign Ministry said on Thursday that the United States violated the Iranian nuclear agreement and UN Security Council Resolution 2231.

“The United States claims that it is ready to return to full implementation of its obligations under the nuclear deal, while continuing to violate it, as well as UN Security Council Resolution 2231,” the Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Saeed Khatibzadeh.

Regarding the recent US ban on some Iranian officials, Khatibzadeh considered “the measure is another indication of the bad intentions of the U.S. administration towards the Iranian people, which aims to continue its failed policy of exerting maximum pressure on Iran.”

He pointed out that the current US administration, contrary to its claims, is taking advantage of every opportunity to make baseless accusations and put pressure on the Iranian people.
