UN foreign staff return to work in Hodiedah
SANAA, June 18 (YPA) – The UN foreign staff have returned to open the organization’s office for working at Hodeidah province, After the failure of the military escalation on the western coast front waged by US-backed coalition forces.
The move came after the army have achieved great victories on the ground against the coalition forces and militiamen, killing and wounding hundreds of the militiamen and destroying dozens military vehicles.
Meanwhile, the UN humanitarian coordinator Lise Grande has required from the International Security Council to go out the UN foreign staff, claiming that there was threats against the staff and that their lives are in danger, in addition to the US pressure exerted to evacuate staff.
The pro-US-Saudi-led coalition forces media channels and newspapers has waged a promotional operation to support the military escalation against Hodiedah.
