LAHJ, March 21 (YPA) – Violent clashes between Islah Party militants and tribesmen on Sunday cut off the road linking the provinces of Taiz and Aden in the Tor Al-Baha area in Lahj province, southern Yemen.
Tribal sources indicated that the Taiz-Aden road was interrupted due to the continuing confrontations between the militants of the “Fourth Brigade” affiliated with the Islah party and the sons of Al-Hamida tribe since yesterday in Tol Al-Baha area.
The armed clashes took place against the background of the brigade’s armed men creating a point for taxes and royalties on travelers, according to the sources.
