Chinese President urges US counterpart to correct miscalculation of global situation

SANAA, March 20 (YPA) – Chinese President Xi Jinping urged his US counterpart Joe Biden during his latest telephone conversation that the United States should correct its miscalculation of the global situation, Xinhua reported.

According to the agency, the Chinese president called on his US counterpart to “take into account global stability, the work and lives of billions of people and think about how to properly address global hot issues.”

In a telephone conversation with his US counterpart two days ago, the Chinese president explained that comprehensive and indiscriminate sanctions would only lead to the suffering of the people.

The permanent solution was for the major Powers to respect each other, reject the cold war mentality, refrain from confrontation between blocs and adopt a balanced, effective and gradually sustainable security structure for the region and the world.
