The New York Times: Three MSF staff killed by Ethiopian soldiers

SANAA, March 18 (YPA) – Ethiopian soldiers have killed  the three aid workers in the Tigray area, which has been at war since 2020 on orders issued by the commander of the soldiers who was angry at the presence of humanitarian workers in a military operations area, The New York Times reported.

The bodies of the three aid workers were found on the side of a road in June 2021 next to their burning car.

Medical charity Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has asked Ethiopia to respond to media reports that government forces killed three MSF staff in the Tigray region in 2020.

MSF says it wants to know exactly the circumstances of the deaths of three of its staff.

The war in northern Ethiopia included many  narratives on massacres and gang rapes, the deaths of thousands of people and  famine.
