Moscow: Sanctions push Russian-US relations to standstill

SANAA, March 16 (YPA) – The Russian Embassy in Washington said new US sanctions on a group of Russian individuals continue to push bilateral relations to deeper stalemate.

Commenting on this new batch of US sanctions against Russia, the Russian Embassy in the United States added: “This new hostile action continues to push Russian-US. relations into a deeper stalemate

It also prevented  to maintain a few channels of interaction and cooperation between the two countries.”

According to the Russian Embassy, “such attacks” will not go unanswered from Moscow.

Earlier, the US Treasury Department imposed new restrictive measures against 15 individuals in Russia and Belarus, including high-ranking figures in Russia’s military command.
