Gas ignites protests in Aden

ADEN, March 15 (YPA) – Dozens of citizens demonstrated on Tuesday against the lack of domestic gas in the port city of Aden, which is under the control of the Saudi-led coalition militia.

The demonstrators, who organized a protest sit-in in front of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) authorities’ building in Khor Maksar area, demanded the provision of domestic gas and not selling their share on the black market.

They indicated that their suffering was exacerbated by the lack of gas, the lack of water and electricity services, and the absence of health services over the past years.

This comes after seven years of false promises made by the coalition to the people of the southern provinces, taking advantage of their living conditions to push them into the crematoria of death to achieve its colonial interests, after controlling the natural resources, coasts, and ports, which their revenues are transferred to the banks of Abu Dhabi and Riyadh.
