Saudi Arabia withdraws Hadi forces from Marib to its borders

MARIB, March 09 (YPA) – A Saudi military committee has established camps between Marib and Jawf provinces  for the sake of bringing back Hadi’s forces who had retreated  from its borders.

This was reported by Yemen News Portal based on the testimonies of  well-informed sources.

According to the sources, the Saudi committee is using the carrot-and-stick approach to bring back members of Hadi’s forces who were sent to Marib as reinforcements due to  the advances of the Yemeni army firces (Sana’a Forces)

The sources confirmed that these forces refused to return due  to the  ill-treatment and humiliation by Saudi officers.

The sources also confirmed that the Saudi move caused discontent  the displeasure of the  “Islah” party because it emptied its locations from  fighters in Marib’s fronts  and put them on the edge of failing to the hand of the army forces.

Saudi Arabia has set up Yemeni forces that do not belong to Hadi’s defense ministry in order to protect their border positions, deploying their affiliates as scapegoats on the lines of fire with Sanaa forces entering border areas, while deploying Saudi soldiers in fallback positions in an effort to minimize their terrible losses on the border fronts.
