STC militias storm headquarters of GPC in Aden

ADEN, March 02 (YPA) –  The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia stormed the headquarters of the General People’s Congress (GPC) in Yemen’s southern port city of  Aden, witnesses said on Tuesday.

Witnesses confirmed that a number of members of the “STC” militia on board military vehicles stormed the GBC’s headquarters in Al-Tawahi district.

According to Cratersky news outlet, the witnesses explained that the storming and closure of the headquarters came  following the directives of the  STC’s leadership, without mentioning the reasons.

The move came after the STC’s militia dismantled  spy cells belonging to Tariq Afash in the cities of Aden and Ataq, the capital of Shabwah province, according to pro-STC media .
