HR Ministry condemns Saudi airstrikes on operations room of Health Bureau in Hodeidah

 

SANAA, June 17 (YPA) – The Ministry of Human Rights strongly condemned Saturday US-Saudi air strikes on Hodeidah province which targeted operations room of the Health Bureau in Thura general hospital, in a statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency.

The ministry pointed out that the aggression country committed  grave violations and crimes that are considered the most serious crimes against the Yemeni people and their capabilities and properties, causing the death and injury of thousands of innocent citizens, and the imposition of the siege and the prohibition of the entry of food and medicine since 2015.

The statistics show that more than 460 centers and health facilities were targeted, and the most recently targeting the drug store of Médecins Sans Frontières in Abes hospital in the province of Hajja, the ministry added.

The ministry demanded the international community and United States to bear their responsibilities to stop such war crimes.

The statement called for the formation of an independent and impartial international commission to investigate the facts and all violations and crimes committed against the Yemeni people, their capabilities and property since March 2015.
