OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Feb.27 (YPA) – Palestinian resistance fighters have targeted an Israeli occupation military outpost of Evyatar on Jabal Sobeih, in the town of Beita, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian sources said late Saturday.
According to Palestinian sources, the resistance fighters opened fired at Zionist soldiers stationed in a military outpost of Evyatar, south of Nablus.
The sources said that the occupation army mobilized its forces and carried out combing operations at the scene of the shooting, but no injuries have been reported.
The occupying forces stationed on Jabal Sobeih near the outpost of Evyatar are being shot by resistance fighters refusing the establishment of the outpost .
Popular armed resistance has escalated recently in the West Bank, particularly after enemy attacks and settler confiscation of land in Nablus and Jenin in favour of the establishment of settler outposts.
The Evyatar outpost is has been under near constant attacks by Palestinian resistance, carried in order to prevent the occupation forces from stabiliising their military presence at the top of Mount Sobeih in Beita.
