Human rights symposium in Damascus reviews crimes of coalition in Yemen

DAMASCUS, Feb. 24 (YPA) – The Yemeni Embassy in Damascus yesterday organized a human rights symposium on the crimes of aggression and the humanitarian situation in Yemen.

The symposium began with the screening of a documentary on the heinous massacres, which included very harsh scenes of the victims of the Saudi aggression, that bombing residential neighborhoods with all human components and all civilians.

During the symposium the Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen in Damascus, Abdullah Ali Sabri, said that it is very important to convey the truth about what is taking place in Yemen of inhuman crimes against the people amid the silence of the international community.

He stressed that these crimes will not pass without punishment.

“There are countries, governments and international organizations that trade with the blood of Yemenis, as they previously did in Syria, Palestine and other states,” Sabri added.

He described relations between Yemen and Syria as historical and exceptional, indicating that the embargo imposed on the two countries will increase their determination and will.
