Israeli occupation forces target Palestinian fishermen, farmers in Gaza

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Feb. 23 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday morning opened fire at Palestinian fishermen and farmers, east of Khan Yunis governorate, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Palestinian sources said that the occupation soldiers opened fire towards agricultural lands and shepherds, east of the town of Khuza’a, east of the governorate; which forced the farmers to withdraw. They also chased after the fishermen’s boats and shot them in the sea of the southern Gaza Strip.

The shooting towards agricultural lands coincided with a limited incursion of eight Israeli enemy military vehicles into the lands of citizens east of Al-Fukhari town, east of Khan Yunis.

It is noteworthy that the border and coastal areas in Gaza are subjected to Zionist attacks on an almost daily basis.
