Parliament appreciates revolutionary leaders’ efforts in managing battles for defending of homeland

SANAA, Feb. 23 (YPA) – Yemeni Parliament has praised the efforts and wise measures of the revolution’s leadership and the Supreme Political Council, in leading the country and managing the battle to defend the homeland, the last of which was the military operation to defend Haradh from Saudi-led coalition’s attacks  .

In a statement on Tuesday, the legislative body congratulated the Yemeni army, their allied Popular Committees and tribal forces over the major victories, expressing gratitude to the heroes of the leadership of the Fifth Region and all its affiliates, along with the free tribesmen, for the sacrifices they made against the US-Saudi aggression.

The statement also praised the strategic tactics in luring the invaders and occupiers, considering this victory a strong message to the US-Saudi aggression that Yemen is “the graveyard of all invaders.”

The statement stressed that the Yemeni people are a solid rock against which all conspiracies targeting the faith identity of the people of Yemen will be crushed.

The Parliament noted the successive victories achieved by the Army and Popular Committees, and the free tribesmen, on various fronts, and their heroic epics in the face of invasions and occupations.

It stressed the importance of continuing steadfastness and confronting the escalation until liberating all the territories of Yemen, achieving independence and expelling the invaders and occupiers.

The statement called on the concerned authorities to pay attention to the families of the martyrs and to provide full care to the wounded who sacrificed parts of their bodies in the defense of the homeland, its unity and sovereignty.
