Tribal mediation succeeds in Marib de-escalation

MARIB, Feb. 20 (YPA) – A tribal mediation succeeded on Sunday in establishing a truce between the Saudi-led coalition forces and Al Jalal tribes in al-Abaidah district of Marib province.

According to tribal sources in the province, the mediation, which sent by the coalition and the authority of the Saudi-lbacked exiled Hadi government” in Marib, came after violent battles that the city witnessed mong the two sides.

The sources indicated that the Al Jalal tribes gave the coalition forces and the Islah militia 8 hours to implement their conditions agreed upon by the coalition.
