Bahrain witnesses mass demonstration rejecting Israeli PM’s visit

MANAMA, Feb. 16 (YPA) – The Kingdom of Bahrain witnessed on Tuesday night a mass rally in rejection of the visit of the Israeli Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett, to Manama.

The protesters burned the flag of the Israeli occupation entity and trampled on it. They raised slogans condemning the policies of the Bahraini government, which in September 2020 signed an agreement to normalize relations with Tel Aviv.

On Monday evening, Bennett arrived in the Bahraini capital, Manama, on the first visit of an Israeli prime minister to Bahrain.
