Coalition destroys TeleYemen building in Sanaa

SANAA, Feb. 14 (YPA) – Saudi-led Coalition warplanes have launched airstrikes on the TeleYemen Company building north of the capital Sanaa, which led to its destruction.

The attack came in less than three weeks after coalition warplane destroyed Yemen internet gateway through bombing the building of the telecommunications s center in Hioeidah, and led to blackout of the internet across Yemen

According to security sources, at 2:00 a.m. on Monday, the coalition warplanes targeted the Yemeni International Telecommunications Company building in Al-Jraf area of Al-Thawra district with two airstrikes, which completely destroyed the building .

The Coalition airstrikes accused severely damages to the near building the yard of the Yemeni ministry of telecommunications and information Technology.
The coalition air force cut off internet and international communications services, through bombing the Telecommunications center in Hodeidah on January 21, 2011, with several airstrikes that disrupted the Internet and international communications from Yemen for several days, before being returned by local efforts.
