Official spokesman for Ansar Allah says UN envoy for Yemen is a cover to continue war on Yemen

SAANAA, June 16 (YPA) – The Official spokesman for Ansar Allah movement Mohammed Abdel Salam said on Friday that the UN envoy for Yemen, Martin Griffiths, has done nothing so far, he is a cover for the continuation of the Saudi-led coalition war on Yemen and his role is no different from the precedent.

This came in a telephone call with al-Masirah TV on Friday night.

“If Martin Griffiths wants to go on the same path of Ismail Ould Sheikh, he is ruling on his tour and his role with the inevitable failure,” Mohammed Abdel Salam said shortly before the visit of the UN envoy who will visit Sanaa on Saturday.

The spokesman stressed that any talk in the media about claims or pressures was untrue and not negotiable.

“The enemy in West Coast battle and its aggression against Yemen have reached a deadlock and its international reputation is on the edged, and it has achieved none of its objectives” said Mohammed Abdel Salam, adding that the Saudi-led coalition resorts to media reviews and psychological war because it lacks Moral value and the social dimension.

In the context, he said, the west coast battle is a US-UK battle, which the alliance states cannot engage in alone, stating that the United States, British and French battleships are engaged in the offensive on hodeidah province.

He stressed that the battle on the west coast is different in its circumstances and nature from the Battle of the South, holding the Saudi-led coalition the responsibilities for the humanitarian in the Red Sea Port City of Hodeidah.
