Islah militants attack protestors in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, Feb. 12 (YPA) – Dozens of protesters were exposed on Saturday to fire carried out by members of the Saudi-backed Islah Party in Hadamaut province, eastern Yemen.

Local sources affirmed that a military force affiliated with the “First Military Region” loyal to the Party targeted the participants, who demanded the Islah gunmen to leave Wadi Hadramout.

The sources stated that the Islah leader, Ali Al-Ahmar’s gunmen arrested the head of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias, Abdullah Muhammad Al-Amoudi, with a number of his companions in the district of Daw’an of Hadramout and took them to an unknown destination.

Meanwhile, the Hadrami Uprising considered that these steps taken by the forces belonging to the Islah would lead to exploding the situation and creating security chaos in Wadi.

UAE pushed its loyalists in the “STC” and “Hadrami Uprising” to besiege the leadership of the “First Military Region” loyal to the ISlah Party, and replace them with the “Hadrami Elite” militia.
