LONDON, Feb. 03 (YPA) – The United Kingdom has warned its citizens in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to the “increased threats and dangers”, after the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out Yemen’s Hurricane operations that targeted the UAE and Saudi Arabia in response to the escalation of Saudi-led aggression against Yemen.
In a statement, the British Foreign Office called on its citizens in the UAE to be vigilant, monitor local media reports and follow the advice of the local authorities.
The statement warned of what it called “an increased threat against Western interests, including against UK citizens.”
In response to the recent escalation of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression, the Yemeni Armed Forces last month carried out three large-scale operations in the Emirati and Saudi depths.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have more than once warned citizens, residents and companies to stay away from vital facilities in the UAE, as they are possible targets during the coming period, stressing that “the state of the Emirati enemy will remain unsafe as long as it continues to launch aggression against Yemen.”
