Clashes erupt in Shabwa’s Habban District amid tribal feud

SHABWA, Oct. 20 (YPA) – Armed clashes broke out at dawn on Tuesday in the Habban district of Shabwa Governorate, amid reports of casualties among tribesmen.

Local sources confirmed that the clashes erupted between gunmen from the Al-Duhail and Al-Dabi Laqumoush tribes, utilizing various types of weapons. The sources indicated that the fighting remains ongoing.

The sources attributed the clashes to a tribal blood feud, noting the absence of state authority in these areas, which have been under Saudi control since early 2016.
