Several US soldiers injured during air landing in Idlib countryside

IDLIB, Feb. 03 (YPA) – A number of U military soldiers were injured Thursday morning during an air landing in Syria’s northeastern Idlib countryside.

Media sources in Idlib countryside confirmed that a number of elite US army soldiers were injured during clashes that broke out immediately after they carried out an air landing in an area considered a stronghold of the Islamic State on the Syrian-Turkish border, in the northern countryside of Idlib.

Clashes between US forces and militants controlling the area continue in the vicinity of the border area of Atma, the far north-west of Syria, according to the sources.
