Security official survives assassination attempt in Aden

ADEN, Feb. 02 (YPA) – A security official survived on Wednesday an assassination attempt in the city of Aden, south of Yemen.

Local sources said that an explosive device, which was planted by unknown persons, exploded in the car of the Director of the Financial Department of the Saudi-exiled “Hadi government”, Nayef Al-Hamidi, in front of his house in Tawahi area.

Dozens of military, security and political leaders, including preachers, have been assassinated by UAE-backed elements since 2015.
