UAE-backed militias expel Islah special forces in Shabwa

SHABWA, Feb. 01 (YPA) – The UAE-backed militias expelled the special forces led by Abdu Rabuh Laka’ab and took control over new areas in Haban district of Shabwa province, east of Yemen.

Informed sources affirmed that elements of “Shabwa Defense” troops took control over Al-Aram area, which links Shabwa with Abyan province.

The sources indicated that the leaders of southern transitional militiamen were involved with ISIS elements cells, pointing out that UAE support them with money and weapons.
