Popular mobilization forces thwart infiltration attempt of ISIS east of Salah ad Din province

BAGHDAD, Feb. 01 (YPA) – Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) on Monday thwarted an infiltration  attempt by  terrorist ISIS (Daesh) members east of Salah ad Din Governorate

“A force from the 22nd Brigade of the Popular Mobilization foiled, on Monday, the infiltration of attempt carried out by the terrorist remnants of ISIS east of Salah ad Din province,” the PMF  said in a statement.

“A group of remnants of the terrorist Daesh tried to infiltrate the Area of  Sahra Al-Ayth this evening, before being confronted by a force from the 22nd Brigade of the Popular Mobilization,” the statement read .
