Pro-coalition leader survives assassination attempt in Abyan

ABYAN, Jan. 31 (YPA) – A leader loyal to the Saudi-led coalition escaped on Monday an assassination attempt in Abyan province, south of Yemen.

local sources reported that unidentified gunmen fled after fired a hail of bullets on a car of the commander of the “emergency” elements in Al-Wadhie district, Mohammed Khalid Al-Jaradi, at the main road leading to Modiyah district.
