Yemeni official responds to US announcement of participation in Yemen war

SANAA, Jan. 28 (YPA) – Top member in Ansarullah Political Bureau,  Fadl Abu Taleb said the Pentagon’s recognition of participation in Saudi-led coalition’s war on Yemen is a further evidence of Washington’s involvement in crimes against civilians.

“The statements of a US Defense Department official about conducting monitoring flights in Yemen reaffirm that the United States is actively involved in setting targets for the coalition warplanes and is actively involved in crimes against civilians in Yemen,” Abu Taleb said in a weet on his twitter account.

“The US Air Force is conducting sorties in Yemen to monitor the firing of missiles and drones,” a Pentagon official was quoted as saying by Sky News Arabia.
