Meteorology expects cold weather to continue in coming 24 hours

SANAA, Jan. 27 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected the continuation of cold weather in most Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.

In its weather bulletin on Thursday, the center affirmed that the cold wave would be focused on the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Ibb and Dhalea, as well as Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa Marib and Jawf.

It warned citizens, especially the elderly, children and workers during the night and early morning, to take the necessary precautions to prevent cold weather.

The center called on motorists to drive carefully on the mountain roads as a result of low visibility due to rain and the formation of water mist in the western mountainous heights.
