CAMA holds coalition responsible for consequences of frequent targeting of Sanaa Airport
SANAA, Jan. 20 (YPA) – The Undersecretary of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority (CAMA), Raed Jabal, on Thursday said that the continued bombing of Sanaa International Airport by the Saudi-led coalition threatens the airport security and safety and affects its operation.
Jabal confirmed, in a statement, that the coalition warplanes have deliberately and continuously since the beginning of the aggression targeted Sanaa airport in a desperate attempt to paralyze its air navigation movement.
He renewed his call to the United Nations to fulfill its obligations to protect the airport from any targeting to ensure the provision of its navigational services to the UN flights and other international humanitarian organizations in Yemen.
The CAMA undersecretary held the Saudi-Emirati coalition the consequences of the continued targeting of Sanaa airport, calling on humanitarian organizations and those working in the field of aviation to condemn and criminalize this brutal aggression on the airport.
