Man killed in Saudi-led airstrikes on Shabwa

SHABWA, Jan. 16 (YPA) – A citizen was killed and one else seriously wounded on Sunday when the Saudi-led coalition warplanes hit residential area of Shabwa province.

Security sources said the warplanes waged three raids on a food store in the Ayn district.

The sources added that the coalition aircraft targeted destroyed a truck transporting foodstuffs on the main road linking the villages of Khabaza and Al-Manajiz in the same district.

This air escalation comes after the US-backed coalition managed to end the mission of the Group of Eminent International Experts to investigate human rights violations during the Yemen war.
