President Al-Mashat stresses need to develop services in hospitals, health facilities

SANAA, Jan. 12 (YPA) – The President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Wednesday stressed the need to redouble efforts to develop performance and services in hospitals and health facilities to alleviate the suffering of patients.

During his visit to the Ministry of Public Health and Population, President Al-Mashat got acquainted with the workflow in the ministry and its plans and programs for the current year.

He was also briefed on the ministry’s achievements during the past year, despite the difficulties that the country is going through and the scarcity of capabilities and the systematic targeting of the health sector infrastructure by the US-backed Saudi-led coalition.

During his meeting with the ministry’s leadership, President Al-Mashat praised the efforts made to improve the level of medical and treatment services in hospitals and health centers, and the ministry’s keenness to overcome the challenges.
