Son of STC’s head in Shabwa killed

SHABWA, Jan. 11 (YPA) – A son of the head of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Shabwa province, Ali Al-Jabwani, was killed on Tuesday in mysterious circumstances.

Tribal sources reported that Muqbil Al-Jabwani was killed in Usailan district, which the pro-UAE factions declared control over.

It is not yet clear the motives for killing Al-Jabwani’s son, who is one of dozens of members of the STC that were killed, including high-ranking leaders, most notably the commander of the “3rd Amaliaqa Brigade” and its war staff.
