ََQUNEITRA, Jan. 06 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army targeted the vicinity of the southwestern Syrian city of Quneitra with artillery and rockets shells, news agencies reported On Wednesday.
A field source confirmed that “the Israeli occupation forces used artillery and tank shells to attack the vicinity of the town of Al-Hurriya.
It is located on the Bravo line, which represents the eastern bank of the disengagement strip with the Israeli enemy,” in the countryside of the northern governorate of Quneitra.
The town of Hurriya was approved by the United Nations in 1974 between two fictitious lines called Bravo to the east and Alpha to the west, with the aim of separating the warring forces following the October War, which had broken out between the two sides a year earlier.
