Sources reveal falsehood of “Al-Amaliqa” militants’ control over Al-Naqoub area in Shabwa

SHABWA, Jan. 04 (YPA) – Local sources in Shabwa province on Tuesday revealed the false news circulated on the news websites loyal to the Saudi-led coalition concerning the control of the UAE-backed armed elements over the Al-Naqoub area on Usailan front.

The sources told “Yemen Press Agency” that the so-called “Al-Amaliqa” militants entered the Al-Naqoub area four days ago, after fighting ‘Balharith’ tribes.

The sources explained that the pro-coalition media published pictures of the militants entering the Al-Naqoub area today, as part of a media misinformation campaign to cover up the defeat of the Al-Amaliqa militants at the hands of Sanaa forces in the ongoing battles at the Usailan desert.
