Yemeni riyal continues to recover in southern provinces, stabilizes in Sanaa

SANAA, Dec. 23 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rate on Thursday continued its relative recovery against foreign currencies after reaching lowest level earlier in this month in the southern provinces, controlled by Saudi-led coalition.

The US dollar exchange rate reached 975 riyals, while the Saudi riyal price reached 260 Yemeni riyals in the provinces of Aden and Hadramout.

Meanwhile, the Yemeni riyal exchange rate remained stable in the capital Sanaa at 602 riyals per dollar. As for the dollar exchange rate on the black market, it reached 605 riyals in Sanaa.
