19 people arrested for supporting terrorist groups in Algeria

ALGERIA, Dec. 22 (YPA) – The Algerian army arrested 19 people for supporting terrorist groups in separate operations across the country, during the period from 15th to 21st of December.

The Ministry of Defense said in a statement that “in the context of counter-terror operations, detachments of the National People’s Army arrested 19 elements supporting terrorist groups, and the discovery and destruction of a homemade bomb in Chlef and a hideout for terrorist groups in Bejaia.”

On the other hand, the ministry revealed that an attempt to bring in quantities of drugs across the border with Morocco was thwarted, estimated at 12 kantars and 25 kilograms of processed narcotics.”
