Shabwa recruits take over camp of Marib
MARIB, Dec. 18 (YPA) – Hundreds of Shabwa recruits fighting with the Saudi-led coalition took on Saturday control over Al-Abr camp’s headquarters, east of Marib province.
According to local sources, about 370 Shabwa officers and soldiers revolted against the commander of the Brigade called Zaid Al-Hajouri, due to his regionalism.
The sources pointed out that military vehicles and gunmen from the coalition’s “23 Mika Brigade” headed to the Salafist camp to end the rebellion peacefully and forced sons of Shabwa to withdrew.
