Al-Qaeda issues statement on two of its members killed in Marib

SANAA, Dec. 17 (YPA) – Al-Qaeda’s al-Jihad Base in Arabian Peninsula issued a statement on Thursday on the killing of two of its members in Marib province.

The statement mourned the two members who were killed by the Yemeni army forces, while participating in the ranks of the Saudi-led coalition forces, in the battles taking place on the outskirts of the city of Marib.

The statement affirmed that the members “Rawaha Al-Qaifi,” one of the terrorist organization’s fighters in Bayda and “Islam Al-Tazi” from Taiz were killed in south of the city of Marib.

Al-Qaeda’s statement clarified that the killed “Yasser Al-Omari,” was among the wanted by the US intelligence services.

This comes to reveal more about the great support provided by the coalition countries to Al-Qaeda and their clandestine alliance to fight in Yemen.
