Syrian air defenses confront Israeli aggression on southern region

DAMASCUS, Dec. 16 (YPA) –  Syrian air defenses have confronted a Zionist aggression targeting some points in the southern region and dropping most of the hostile missiles.

“At around 12:50 a.m. this morning, the Israeli occupation carried out an aerial aggression with missiles, from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some points in the southern region,” a military source said.

“Our air defenses responded to the missiles of aggression and dropped most of them.”

The source said the attack “resulted in the death of one soldier in addition to some material losses”.
