SANAA, Dec. 15 (YPA) – Germany has announced the expulsion of two officials of the Moscow embassy.
Germany’s new foreign minister, Annalena Baerbock, confirmed that her ministry had summoned the Russian ambassador to Berlin against the background of this ruling against the two diplomats, whose names have not been revealed.
The announcement came after a Russian citizen was sentenced to life in prison for the assassination of the former Chechen field commander Zelimkhan Khangoshvili, in Berlin in 2019.
The German security services reported earlier that the Russian citizen convicted of the murder had arrived in Berlin with forged documents.
