Army continues to advance towards Marib city

MARIB, Dec. 15 (YPA) – The Yemeni army has continued to advance to separate the city of Marib from the Safer oil facility, in fierce battles taking place with the Saudi-led coalition in south of the city.

According to tribal sources in the city on Wednesday, the army forces have waged fierce confrontations against the coalition in the “Al-Butter” area, which the army took control over.

The violent confrontations left dozens of dead and wounded on both sides.

According to the sources, the confrontations between the two sides are getting closer towards the Safer oil facility of Marib.
