Islah militants attack community camp in Ataq

SHABWA, Dec. 14 (YPA) – Saudi-backed Islah Party’s gunmen raided on Tuesday and looted a camp belonging to a community initiative in the city of Ataq of Shabwa province.

According to local sources, the militants attacked Al-Mubadara camp and looted all its contents.

The sources noted that the city of Ataq is witnessing security tension between Islah militants and the Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia backed by the UAE, in the context of the struggle aiming at control of oil-rich province.
