Security leader injured in armed clashes in Aden

ADEN, Dec. 13 (YPA) – A security leader in Interior Ministry of Hadi government was injured on Monday due to violent clashes erupted between the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia and the guarding of public facilities in Crater area of Aden province, southern Yemen.

Local residents said that the clashes resulted in wounding head of the Civil Status and Civil Registry Department, Essam Faqira then he was transferred to one of the city’s hospital.

The residents affirmed that the confrontation resulted in civilian casualties and caused panic among the citizens.
