5.5-magnitude earthquake rattles South Africa

SANAA, Dec. 13 (YPA) – A strong earthquake rattled  South Africa at 5.5 on the Richter scale on Sunday night.

According to the US Geological Survey, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.

The authority noted that the earthquake occurred at a 53,039-south latitude and a longitude of 22,174 east.

No material or human casualties have yet been reported.
